Department of Defense Spokesman Lt. Col. David Herndon provided the following readout:
Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Sasha Baker hosted Minister of Defense Armend Mehaj of Kosovo at the Pentagon today to reaffirm the U.S.-Kosovo defense relationship. Baker reiterated U.S. support for Kosovo's ongoing implementation of the Kosovo Security Force's 10-year transition plan. The two leaders also discussed regional security in light of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, as well as Kosovo's role in regional exercises.
