Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III met with his Australian counterpart, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Richard Marles, today in the Pentagon to discuss the United States – Australia Alliance.
They exchanged views on the upcoming public release of the Australian Defense Strategic Review (DSR), the trilateral AUKUS partnership, their shared commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific, and a variety of other issues facing the United States and Australia.
