The Under Secretary and the Director General also discussed opportunities presented by Israel’s entrance into U.S. Central Command, steps to increase bilateral military cooperation, and U.S. support for Israel’s security and defense acquisitions.
Under Secretary Kahl expressed condolences for recent terror attacks in Israel and the West Bank that resulted in the deaths of three Israelis and one tourist, recognizing Israel’s right to defend itself and the importance of stabilizing the security situation in Israel, the West Bank, and the region.
