Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III announced today that the president has made the following nominations:
Air Force Lt. Gen. Kevin B. Schneider for appointment to the grade of general, with assignment as commander, Pacific Air Forces and Air Component Command for U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. Schneider is currently serving as director of staff, Headquarters Air Force, Pentagon, Washington D.C.
Air Force Maj. Gen. David A. Harris Jr. for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as deputy chief of staff, Air Force Futures, Headquarters, U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C. Harris is currently serving as deputy commander, Ninth Air Force; and deputy combined forces air component commander, Air Combat Command, Al Udeid, Qatar.
Air Force Maj. Gen. David R. Iverson for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as deputy commander, U.S. Forces Korea; commander, Combined Air Component Command, United Nations Command; commander, Combined Air Component Command, Combined Forces Command; and commander, Seventh Air Force, Pacific Air Forces, Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. Iverson is currently serving as director, Air and Cyberspace Operations, Headquarters, Pacific Air Forces, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.
Air Force Maj. Gen. Laura L. Lenderman for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as deputy commander, Headquarters, Pacific Air Forces, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. Lenderman is currently serving as the director, Operations, J-3, U.S. Transportation Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.

Pleus is currently serving as deputy commander, U.S. Forces Korea; commander, Air Component Command, United Nations Command; commander, Air Component Command, Combined Forces Command; and commander, Seventh Air Force, Pacific Air Forces, Osan Air Base, South Korea.
Air Force Brig. Gen. Dale R. White for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as military deputy, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force (Acquisition, Technology and Logistics), Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
