Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III announced today that the president has made the following nomination:
Air Force Col. David M. Castaneda for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Castaneda is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the commander, 12th Air Force, Air Combat Command, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona.
