General Officer Assignments

The chief of staff, Army announced today the following assignments:

Maj. Gen. Stephen G. Fogarty to commanding general, Cyber Center of Excellence and Fort Gordon, Georgia. He most recently served as commanding general, U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command, Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

Maj. Gen. Lawarren V. Patterson, commanding general, Cyber Center of Excellence and Fort Gordon, Georgia, to deputy commanding general for operations/chief of staff, Installation Management Command, Joint Base San Antonio, Texas.
