Secretary of Defense Ash Carter announced today that the president has made the following nominations:
Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Craig C. Crenshaw has been nominated for appointment to the rank of major general. Crenshaw is currently serving as the assistant deputy commandant for Installations and Logistics, Headquarters, Marine Corps, Washington, District of Columbia.
Marine Corps Brig. Gen. John K. Love has been nominated for appointment to the rank of major general. Love is currently serving as the director of operations, Plans, Policy and Operations, Headquarters, Marine Corps, Washington, District of Columbia.
Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Neil E. Nelson has been nominated for appointment to the rank of major general. Nelson is currently serving as the chief, combined joint logistics, Headquarters, International Security Assistance Force, Afghanistan.
Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Steven R. Rudder has been nominated for appointment to the rank of major general. Rudder is currently serving as commanding general, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, Okinawa, Japan.
Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Craig Q. Timberlake has been nominated for appointment to the rank of major general. Timberlake is currently serving as the director of manpower management, Manpower and Reserve Affairs, Quantico, Virginia.
