Flag Officer Announcement

Secretary of Defense Ash Carter announced today that the president has made the following nomination:

Navy Vice Adm. William A. Brown for reappointment to the rank of vice admiral and for assignment as director for Logistics, J-4, Joint Staff, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia. Brown is currently serving as deputy commander, U.S. Transportation Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.
