Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel provides closing remarks at the U.S. Air Force Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Summit at 11:45 a.m. EST, in the Gen. Jacob E. Smart Building on Joint Base Andrews. Journalists interested in covering the event must RSVP to Lt. Col. Kirstin Reimann (kirstin.reimann@us.af.mil) no later than 9 a.m. EST, Jan. 16. For base access, journalists must arrive at the Joint Base Andrews Visitor's Center no later than 45 minutes prior to the event, with proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification. The remarks will also stream live on DoD News at www.defense.gov/live, and will broadcast on the DoD News channel.
