Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis in Copenhagen, Denmark to Re-affirm Key U.S. Military Alliances

Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis arrived in Copenhagen, Denmark for his fifth trip where he will re-affirm key U.S. military alliances.

Secretary Mattis and Danish Minister of Defense Claus Hjort Frederiksen will co-host a meeting of senior leaders from 15 countries that are key contributors to the D-ISIS military campaign.

Secretary Mattis and Danish Minister Hjort Frederiksen will also meet to discuss European security and the importance of the NATO alliance.

Secretary Mattis and Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen will meet to re-affirm the close ties between Denmark and the U.S.
