NAVY

 

Lockheed Martin Space Systems Co., Sunnyvale, California, is being awarded $95,355,755 for cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee modification P00020 to previously awarded contract N00030-15-C-0100 in support of the Trident II (D5) missile production and D5 Deployed Systems Support.  The work will be performed in: Sunnyvale, California (41.56 percent); Cape Canaveral, Florida (33.15 percent); Kings Bay, Georgia (9.34 percent); Silverdale, Washington (8.14 percent); Magna, Utah (2.92 percent); Palo Alto, California (1.03 percent); Poulsbo, Washington (0.90 percent); Clearwater, Florida (0.48 percent); Gainesville, Virginia (0.31 percent); Baltimore, Maryland (0.18 percent); Atlanta, Georgia (0.16 percent); Elkton, Maryland (0.16 percent); and other various locations (less than 0.10 percent each, 1.67 percent total), with work expected to be completed by Feb. 4, 2018.  Fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance (Navy) funds in the amount of $90,137,599; and research, development, test, and evaluation (Navy) funds in the amount of $5,218,156 are being obligated on this award.  Contract funds in the amount of $90,137,599 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Strategic Systems Programs, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity.  

The Boeing Co., Huntington Beach, California, is being issued $68,693,695 for cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee task order 2001 against a previously awarded basic ordering agreement (N00019-16-G-0001) for research, development, integration and testing efforts in support of the P-8A Poseidon aircraft.  This task order includes Increment 3 Block 2 acoustics subsystem capability enhancements, software updates, acoustics system and subsystem software sustainment, technical support, management, defect correction, modernization, enhancements, improvements, and obsolescence mitigation.  Work will be performed in Huntington Beach, California (80 percent); and Patuxent River, Maryland (20 percent), and is expected to be completed in January 2022.  Fiscal 2017 research, development, test and evaluation (Navy) funds in the amount of $6,008,980, will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity. 
 
BAE Systems Norfolk Ship Repair, Norfolk, Virginia, is being awarded a $42,941,944 firm-fixed-price contract for USS Vicksburg (CG 69) fiscal 2017 special selected restricted availability (SSRA).  The SSRA work consists of multiple ship alterations and miscellaneous repairs.  The work package contained 99 work items, of which 92 items formed the base work package and 7 items are designated as options.  Work will involve ship repair, and modernization.  This contract includes options, which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $45,997,390.  Work will be performed in Norfolk, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by September 2017.  Fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance (Navy); and fiscal 2017 other procurement (Navy) funding in the amount of $42,941,944 will be obligated at time of award.  Contract funds in the amount of $32,322,084 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured under full and open competition, with one offer received.  The Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center, Norfolk, Virginia, is the contracting activity (N00024-16-D-4406-0010).

Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Connecticut, is being awarded a $13,898,620 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification (contract line item number 2800) to a previously-awarded contract (N00024-09-C-2104) for the planning and execution of USS Illinois (SSN 786) post-delivery work period.  Electric Boat Corp. will perform planning and execution efforts including long-lead-time material procurement in preparation for the maintenance, repair, alterations, testing and other work on USS Illinois during its scheduled post-delivery work period.  The work will be performed in Groton, Connecticut, and is scheduled to be completed by June 2017.  Fiscal 2015 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funds in the amount of $9,898,620 will be obligated at the time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair, Groton, Connecticut, is the contracting activity.


AIR FORCE


National Aerospace Solutions, Arnold Air Force Base, Tennessee, has been awarded a $53,306,589 modification (P00012) to previously awarded contract FA9101-15-C-0500 for test, operations and sustainment. Contractor will provide test operations, technology development, equipment, facility sustainment, capital improvements and some support services for Arnold Engineering Development Complex. Work will be performed at Arnold Air Force Base, Tennessee, and is expected to be complete by June 30, 2017. No funds are being obligated at the time of award. Air Force Test Center, Arnold Air Force Base, Tennessee, is the contracting activity (FA9101-15-C-0500).

Rockwell Collins Inc. - Government Systems, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, has been awarded a $12,887,772 firm-fixed-price contract. Contractor will provide full-rate production of equipment for Increment 1 of the Common Very Low Frequency Receiver (CVRi1) program. Work will be performed at Richardson, Texas, and is expected to be complete by March 1, 2019. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. Fiscal 2015 production funds in the amount of $1,337,478; fiscal 2016 production funds in the amount of $6,536,484; and fiscal 2017 production funds in the amount of $5,013,810 are being obligated at the time of award. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8616-17-C-0005).

Tyonek Global Services Inc., Madison, Alabama, has been awarded a $9,071,595 firm-fixed-price contract for cyber operations formal training support. Contractor will provide course planning, technical writing, course development, instructor training and all other support necessary to support the field training unit. Work will be performed at Hurlburt Field, Florida; and Joint Base San Antonio - Lackland, Texas, and is expected to be complete by July 31, 2018. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. Fiscal 2017 operation and maintenance funds in the amount of $5,839,683 are being obligated at the time of award. The 38th Contracting Squadron, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is the contracting activity (FA8773-17-C-0006).


DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

 

Raytheon Co., Integrated Defense Systems, Andover, Massachusetts, has been awarded a $13,976,878 firm-fixed-price contract for radio frequency exciters. This was a sole-source acquisition using justification 10 U.S. Code 2304(c)(1) from Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is a three-year contract with no option periods. Location of performance is Massachusetts, with a Jan. 31, 2020, performance completion date. Using military service is Army. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2017 defense working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama (SPRRA2-17-C-0010).
