Contracts For March 8, 2021

ARMY

Honeywell International Inc., Phoenix, Arizona, was awarded a $476,065,362 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of CH-47 aircraft T55 engines, CH-47 aircraft T55 engine electronic control units, and CH-47 aircraft T55 engine installation kits.  Bids were solicited via the internet with one received.  Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2023.  U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-21-D-0027).

Able Force Inc., Tampa, Florida, was awarded a $45,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for digitization and hosting services.  Bids were solicited via the internet with one received.  Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Mar. 8, 2026.  U.S. Army Health Contracting Activity, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, is the contracting activity (W91YTZ-21-D-0001).

VS2 LLC, Alexandria, Virginia, was awarded a $31,027,299 modification (0001BM) to contract W52P1J-13-G-0029 for logistics support services at Fort Benning, Georgia.  Work will be performed in Fort Benning, Georgia, with an estimated completion date of March 9, 2022.  Fiscal 2021 operation and maintenance (Army) funds in the amount of $3,469,480 were obligated at the time of the award.  U.S. Army Contracting Command, Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois, is the contracting activity.

Structural Associates Inc.,* East Syracuse, New York, was awarded a $14,809,037 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of two new 1,590 kiloliter above-ground fuel storage tanks, a pump shelter with two 38 liter-per-second pumps, and two 38 liter-per-second filter separators.  Bids were solicited via the internet with three received.  Work will be performed in Patrick Air Force Base, Florida, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 15, 2022.  Fiscal 2021 military construction (defense-wide) funds in the amount of $14,809,037 were obligated at the time of the award.  U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile, Alabama, is the contracting activity (W91278-21-C-0012).

Intuitive Research and Technology Corp., Huntsville, Alabama, was awarded a $9,296,466 modification (0014C5) to contract W31P4Q-09-A-0016 to provide rapid-response and cost-effective hardware solutions for Department of Defense and other federal departments and agencies.  Work will be performed in Huntsville, Alabama, with an estimated completion date of March 2, 2022.  Fiscal 2021 Foreign Military Sales (Egypt); and research, development, test and evaluation (Army) funds in the amount of $9,296,466 were obligated at the time of the award.  U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.

NAVY

BAE Systems San Diego Ship Repair, San Diego, California, is awarded a $34,729,132 firm-fixed-price contract for a combination of ship maintenance, modernization and repair of the USS Russell (DDG 59) to execute fiscal 2021 selected restricted availability.  This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $49,973,764.  This is a Chief of Naval Operations scheduled selected restricted availability.  The purpose is to maintain, modernize and repair the USS Russell.  This is a “long-term” availability and was solicited on a coast-wide (west coast) basis without limiting the place of performance to the vessel’s homeport.  BAE will provide the facilities and human resources capable of completing, coordinating and integrating multiple areas of ship maintenance, repair and modernization for USS Russell.  Work will be performed in San Diego, California, and is expected to be completed by September 2022.  Fiscal 2021 other procurement (Navy) ($33,595,120; 97%); and 2021 operation and maintenance (Navy) ($1,134,012; 3%) funding will be obligated at time of award.  Funding in the amount of $1,134,012 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured using full and open competition via the Federal Business Opportunities website with three offers were received in response to solicitation no. N00024-21-R-4456.  Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-21-C-4455).

General Dynamics Electric Boat, Groton, Connecticut, is awarded a $15,024,498 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to previously awarded contract N00024-09-C-2104 for the exercise of previously priced options for continued execution of USS Delaware (SSN 791) post-delivery work period.  General Dynamics Electric Boat will perform planning and execution efforts in preparation to accomplish the maintenance, repair, alterations, testing and other work on USS Delaware (SSN 791) during its scheduled post-delivery work period.  Work will be performed in Groton, Connecticut, and is expected to be completed by July 2021.  Fiscal 2020 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funds in the amount of $15,024,498 will be obligated at contract award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Supervisor of Shipbuilding Conversion and Repair, Groton, Connecticut, is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

Valley Tech Systems Inc., Folsom, California, has been awarded a $9,492,240 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification (P00009) to contract FA8750-19-C-1531 for integrating the Advanced Battle Management Systems (ABMS) with a wide-range of sensors and sensing modalities.  This modification provides for the research and development of sensor data feeds, in standardized open formats, to achieve an effective end-product supporting ABMS data fusion objectives.  Work will be performed in Folsom, California, and is expected to be completed Sept. 29, 2022.  This award is the result of a competitive acquisition and two offers were received. Fiscal 2021 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $956,141 are being obligated at the time of award.  Air Force Research Laboratory, Rome, New York, is the contracting activity.
