DOD Identifies Army Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Inherent Resolve.

Sgt. Christopher Wesley Curry, 23, from Terre Haute, Indiana, died May 4, 2020 in Erbil, Iraq, from a non-combat-related incident. The incident is under investigation.

Curry was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Fort Wainwright, Alaska.
