General Officer Announcements

Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher C. Miller announced today that the president has made the following nominations:

Air Force Col. Terrence A. Adams for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Adams is currently serving as the chief, Strategic Assessments Division, Deputy Chief of Staff, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Cyber Effects Operations, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Air Force Col. Curtis R. Bass for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Bass is currently serving as the senior executive officer to the chief of staff of the Air Force, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Air Force Col. Steven G. Behmer for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Behmer is currently serving as the commander, 388th Fighter Wing, Air Combat Command, Hill Air Force Base, Utah.

Air Force Col. Joseph L. Campo for appointment to the rank brigadier general.  Campo is currently serving as the executive officer to the commander, U.S. European Command and Supreme Allied Commander, Europe, Headquarters U.S. European Command, SHAPE, Belgium.

Air Force Col. Andrew M. Clark for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Clark is currently serving as the senior military assistant to the under secretary of the Air Force, Office of the Secretary of the Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Air Force Col. Tad D. Clark for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Clark is currently serving as the senior executive officer to the vice chief of staff of the Air Force, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Air Force Col. Luke C.G. Cropsey for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Cropsey is currently serving as the senior military assistant to the assistant secretary of the Air Force for acquisition, technology and logistics, Office of the Secretary of the Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Air Force Col. Melissa S. Cunningham for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Cunningham is currently serving as the chief, Cyberspace Operations Branch, Joint Staff, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Air Force Col. Robert D. Davis for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Davis is currently serving as the vice director of operations, North American Aerospace Defense Command, Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado.

Air Force Col. George T. M. Dietrich III for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Dietrich is currently serving as the deputy director, Resource Integration, Deputy Chief of Staff, Logistics, Engineering and Force Protection, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Air Force Col. Aaron D. Drake for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Drake is currently serving as the commander, National Security Agency-Texas, 16th Air Force, Joint Base San Antonio, Texas.

Air Force Col. Lyle K. Drew for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Drew is currently serving as the director of staff, Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.

Air Force Col. Steven M. Gorski for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Gorski is currently serving as the special assistant to the commander, Air Combat Command, Headquarters Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia.

Air Force Col. Glenn T. Harris for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Harris is currently serving as the executive advisor to the commander, U.S. Strategic Command, Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska.

Air Force Col. Brian S. Hartless for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Hartless is currently serving as the commander, 10th Air Base Wing, U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Air Force Col. Justin R. Hoffman for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Hoffman is currently serving as the director, Legislative Affairs, U.S. Special Operations Command, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Air Force Col. Otis C. Jones for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Jones is currently serving as the vice superintendent, U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Air Force Col. Brian S. Laidlaw for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Laidlaw is currently serving as the principal military assistant to the Secretary of Defense, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Air Force Col. Jason E. Lindsey for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Lindsey is currently serving as the KC-46 system program manager, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.

Air Force Col. Debra A. Lovette for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Lovette is currently serving as the director, Secretary of the Air Force/Chief of Staff of the Air Force Executive Action Group, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Air Force Col. William L. Marshall for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Marshall is currently serving as the vice commander, Third Air Force, U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces in Africa, Ramstein Air Base, Germany. 

Air Force Col. Robert A. Masaitis for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Masaitis is currently serving as the commander, 27th Special Operations Wing, Air Force Special Operations Command, Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico.

Air Force Col. Michael A. Miller for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Miller is currently serving as the chief of staff, Headquarters Air Force Global Strike Command, Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana.

Air Force Col. Ricky L. Mills for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Mills is currently serving as the commandant, Squadron Officer School, Air University, Air Education and Training Command, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama.

Air Force Col. Jeffrey W. Nelson for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Nelson is currently serving as the director, Checkmate, Deputy Chief of Staff, Operations, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C..

Air Force Col. Randy P. Oakland for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Oakland is currently serving as the director of operations, 19th Air Force, Air Education and Training Command, Joint Base San Antonio, Texas.

Air Force Col. Max E. Pearson for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Pearson is currently serving as the senior military assistant to the under secretary of defense for intelligence, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Air Force Col. Jonathan C. Rice IV for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Rice is currently serving as the executive assistant to the commander, U.S. Northern Command, and commander, North American Aerospace Defense Command, U.S. Northern Command, Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado.

Air Force Col. Jason M. Rueschhoff for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Rueschhoff is currently serving as the executive assistant to the commander, Headquarters Pacific Air Forces, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.

Air Force Col. Joel W. Safranek for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Safranek is currently serving as the deputy director, Operations, Headquarters U.S. Transportation Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.

Air Force Col. Timothy A. Sejba for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Sejba is currently serving as the program executive officer for Space Development, Space and Missile Systems Center, U.S. Space Force, Los Angeles Air Force Base, California.

Air Force Col. Stephen P. Snelson for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Snelson is currently serving as the commander, 89th Airlift Wing, Air Mobility Command, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland.

Air Force Col. Benjamin W. Spencer for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Spencer is currently serving as the chief, House Liaison Office, Office of the Legislative Liaison, Office of the Secretary of the Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Air Force Col. Frank R. Verdugo for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Verdugo is currently serving as the director, Air Force Budget Programs, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Financial Management and Comptroller, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
