Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel announced today that the president has made the following nominations:
Air Force Brig. Gen. Abel Barrientes has been nominated for appointment to the rank of major general. Barrientes is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the vice commander, Pacific Air Forces, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.
Air Force Brig. Gen. Brian E. Dominguez has been nominated for appointment to the rank of major general. Dominguez is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the commander, Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.
Air Force Brig. Gen. John C. Flournoy Jr. has been nominated for appointment to the rank of major general. Flournoy is currently serving as the commander, 4th Air Force, Air Force Reserve Command, March Air Reserve Base, California.
Air Force Brig. Gen. Kathryn J. Johnson has been nominated for appointment to the rank of major general. Johnson is currently serving as the director of logistics, Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Installations and Mission Support, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia.
Air Force Brig. Gen. Kenneth D. Lewis Jr. has been nominated for appointment to the rank of major general. Lewis is currently serving as the deputy director for partnership strategy/trans-regional policy, Joint Staff, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia.
Air Force Brig. Gen. Mark L. Loeben has been nominated for appointment to the rank of major general. Loeben is currently serving as the director of exercises and assessments and senior reserve component advisor to the commander, Headquarters U.S. European Command, Stuttgart-Vaihingen, Germany.
Air Force Brig. Gen. Vincent M. Mancuso has been nominated for appointment to the rank of major general. Mancuso is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the chief of staff of the U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia.
Air Force Brig. Gen. Ronald B. Miller has been nominated for appointment to the rank of major general. Miller is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the commander, U.S. Air Forces Central Command, Southwest Asia.
Air Force Brig. Gen. Dixie A. Morrow has been nominated for appointment to the rank of major general. Morrow is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the deputy judge advocate general, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia.
Air Force Brig. Gen. Karen A. Rizzuti has been nominated for appointment to the rank of major general. Rizzuti is currently serving as the mobilization assistant to the commander, 24th Air Force, Air Force Space Command, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas.
