General Officer Announcements

Secretary of Defense Ash Carter announced today that the president has made the following nominations:

 

Air Force Col. Kenneth T. Bibb Jr. has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Bibb is currently serving as vice commander, 618th Air Operations Center, Tanker Airlift Control Center, Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. 

 

Air Force Col. Angela M. Cadwell has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general.  Cadwell is currently serving as the executive officer to the deputy commander, U.S. European Command, Stuttgart-Vaihingen, Germany.

 

Air Force Col. Martin A. Chapin has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Chapin is currently serving as the deputy director, operations and plans, Headquarters U.S. Transportation Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.

 

Air Force Col. James R. Cluff has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Cluff is currently serving as the senior military assistant to the undersecretary of defense for intelligence, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia.

 

Air Force Col. Charles S. Corcoran has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Corcoran is currently serving as commander, 3rd Wing, Pacific Air Forces, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska.

 

Air Force Col. Sean M. Farrell has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Farrell is currently serving as commander, 1st Special Operations Wing, Air Force Special Operations Command, Hurlburt Field, Florida.

 

Air Force Col. Chad P. Franks has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Franks is currently serving as the senior executive officer to the vice chief of staff, U.S. Air Force, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia.

 

Air Force Col. Alexus G. Grynkewich has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Grynkewich is currently serving as chief, integration and planning, deputy chief of staff for strategic plans and requirements, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia.

 

Air Force Col. Timothy D. Haugh has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Haugh is currently serving as commander, 480th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wing, Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia.

 

Air Force Col. Christopher D. Hill has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Hill is currently serving as the deputy director of resource integration, deputy chief of staff for logistics, engineering, and force protection, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia.

 

Air Force Col. Eric T. Hill has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Hill is currently serving as the special assistant to the commander, U.S. Special Operations Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida.

 

Air Force Col. Samuel C. Hinote has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Hinote is currently serving as the military assistant to the deputy secretary of defense, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia.

 

Air Force Col. William G. Holt II has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Holt is currently serving as commander, 352nd Special Operations Wing, Air Force Special Operations Command, Royal Air Force Mildenhall, United Kingdom.

 

Air Force Col. Linda S. Hurry has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Hurry is currently serving as commander, 635th Supply Chain Operations Wing, Air Force Materiel Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.

 

Air Force Col. Matthew C. Isler has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Isler is currently serving as commander, 12th Flying Training Wing, Air Education and Training Command, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas.

 

Air Force Col. Kyle J. Kremer has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Kremer is currently serving as the executive officer to the commander, U.S. Transportation Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.

 

Air Force Col. John C. Kubinec has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Kubinec is currently serving as the senior special assistant to the Supreme Allied Commander, Europe, and commander, U.S. European Command, Brussels, Belgium.

 

Air Force Col. Douglas K. Lamberth has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Lamberth is currently serving as the vice superintendent, U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

 

Air Force Col. Lance K. Landrum has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Landrum is currently serving as the director for colonel management, Deputy Chief of Staff Manpower, Personnel and Services, Headquarters, U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia.

 

Air Force Col. Jeannie M. Leavitt has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Leavitt is currently serving as the principal military assistant to the secretary of defense, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia.

 

Air Force Col. William J. Liquori Jr. has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Liquori is currently serving as the senior military assistant to the undersecretary of the Air Force, Office of the Secretary of the Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia.

 

Air Force Col. Michael J. Lutton has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Lutton is currently serving as commander, 91st Missile Wing, Air Force Global Strike Command, Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota.

 

Air Force Col. Corey J. Martin has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Martin is currently serving as the special assistant to the commander, United Nations Command and Combined Forces Command, U.S. Forces Korea, U.S. Pacific Command, Yongsan Garrison, Korea.

 

Air Force Col. Tom D. Miller has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Miller is currently serving as vice commander, Air Force Sustainment Center, Air Force Materiel Command, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma.

 

Air Force Col. Richard G. Moore Jr. has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Moore is currently serving as chief, program integration division, deputy chief of staff strategic plans and requirements, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia.

 

Air Force Col. James D. Peccia III has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Peccia is currently serving as the director for budget operations and personnel, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia.

 

Air Force Col. Heather L. Pringle has been nominated to the grade of brigadier general.  Pringle is currently serving as the executive officer to the chief of staff, U.S. Air Force, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia.

 

Air Force Col. Michael J. Schmidt has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Schmidt is currently serving as the program executive officer for intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and special operations forces, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.

 

Air Force Col. James R. Sears Jr. has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Sears is currently serving as the director for assignments and air expeditionary force operations, Air Force Personnel Center, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas.

 

Air Force Col. Daniel L. Simpson has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Simpson is currently serving as commander, National Security Agency/Central Security Service Texas, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas.

 

Air Force Col. Mark H. Slocum has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Slocum is currently serving as commander, 4th Fighter Wing, Air Combat Command, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina.

 

Air Force Col. Robert S. Spalding III has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Spalding is currently serving as chief, China, Taiwan and Mongolia Division, J-5 Joint Staff, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia.

 

Air Force Col. William A. Spangenthal has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Spangenthal is currently serving as the director, Secretary of the Air Force and Chief of Staff of the Air Force Executive Action Group, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia.

 

Air Force Col. Edward W. Thomas Jr. has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Thomas is currently serving as commander, Thomas N. Barnes Center for Enlisted Education, Air University, Air Education and Training Command, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama.

 

Air Force Col. John T. Wilcox II has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Wilcox is currently serving as commander, 341st Missile Wing, Air Force Global Strike Command, Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana.

 

Air Force Col. Michael P. Winkler has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.  Winkler is currently serving as commander, 354th Fighter Wing, Pacific Air Forces, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska.
