The chief of staff, Army announced the following assignments:

Maj. Gen. Mark R. Stammer, commander, Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa, Operation Enduring Freedom-Horn of Africa, Djibouti, to deputy commanding general, XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
