Know Your Military Ambassadors

Become an ambassador for the #KnowYourMil movement and help people get to know our military, the people who serve, and what it means to serve.

The Department of Defense is commemorating the 75th anniversary of World War II through Dec. 31, 2021, to thank and honor veterans of the war and their families, and to educate the public about the history of World War II and America’s military.

DOD is hosting events at the Pentagon, collaborating with World War II partners and nonprofit organizations to plan, host and promote events, and partnering with U.S. military services at installations throughout the United States and around the world.

If your organization would like support from DOD for your event, please fill out the form below. A member of DOD’s WWII75 Commemoration team will contact you shortly. To be considered for DOD support, your organization must communicate how your event will achieve the congressionally mandated objectives of the program. Public Law 115-433 can be found here.
