The Comfort: A Sight for Sore Eyes

The U.S. Navy hospital ship USNS Comfort is making its rounds in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Honduras for Enduring Promise 2018. During the 11-week mission, U.S. military personnel work alongside civil and military partners to provide medical assistance based on the needs of each country. Patricia Caicedo, from Esmeraldas, Ecuador, talks about a procedure improving her granddaughter’s quality of life.
