A U.S. Marine Corps amphibious assault vehicle from the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit splashes into the Aegean Sea as it exits the well deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Fort McHenry (LSD 43) as part of a joint amphibious exercise with the USS Ponce (LPD 15) and Greek military and police forces on June 5, 2009. The ship is deployed with the USS Bataan (LHD 5) Amphibious Ready Group in support of maritime security operations in the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility.
